Connect Baptist Church approached Mark Williams Architects with a challenging and complex set of parameters involving a previous Development Approval, an unzoned-undeveloped site without power, water, sewerage or communications and with flooding, environmental & coastal soil issues.

MWA gathered an experienced team of consultants to manage each aspect of the project from initial modification of the previous design through to approval of the Master Plan.

​

This involved dividing the project into four manageable stages allowing the congregation time to gather resources for each step.

Following this milestone, construction documents were produced, making allowance for the planned future stages.

In 2012 and after 13 years from project inception, Connect Baptist Church opened the doors of Stage 1. Meanwhile, the Church is preparing for expansion with the construction of Stage 2; providing more space to operate their community activities.
